Prerequisites Before You Begin

• Connect the external hard drive or USB drive containing your system image backup to your PC.
• If you are using a laptop, ensure it is plugged into a power source to prevent interruption during the restoration process.
• Back up any new files created since the image backup was made, as the restore process will completely overwrite the target drive.

Step 1: Access Advanced Startup

You can access the recovery environment depending on whether your computer can boot into Windows or not.

Option A: If Your PC Boots into Windows 11

1. Open Settings by pressing Win + I.
2. Go to System > Recovery.
3. Under the Recovery options section, locate Advanced startup and click Restart now.
4. Confirm by clicking Restart now again.

Option B: If Your PC Cannot Boot into Windows 11
