How to Customize Windows 11 Quick Settings
Windows 11 allows you to tailor the Quick Settings flyout menu so that only the toggles and shortcuts you use most frequently are visible. Whether you want to add controls like Mobile Hotspot and Night Light, remove features you rarely touch, or rearrange the layout for faster access, customizing this menu takes only a few seconds. This guide walks you through the exact steps to modify your Quick Settings layout.
How to Access and Edit Quick Settings
- Open the Quick Settings Menu: Click on the cluster of system icons (Network, Volume, and Battery) in the bottom-right corner of your taskbar, or press the keyboard shortcut Windows Key + A.
- Enter Edit Mode: Click the Edit quick settings icon (represented by a pencil) located in the lower-right corner of the pop-up menu.
How to Remove Toggles
- While in edit mode, look for the Unpin icon (a small pin with a slash through it) on the top-right corner of each toggle.
- Click the Unpin icon on any toggle you want to remove. It will disappear from the grid immediately.
How to Add New Toggles
- Click the + Add button at the bottom of the Quick Settings panel.
- A pop-up list will appear displaying any available switches not
