Add Twitch Activity Feed to OBS Studio Custom Docks
Keeping track of your stream’s interactions is crucial for engaging with your audience in real-time. This guide provides a straightforward, step-by-step walkthrough on how to integrate your Twitch activity feed directly into OBS Studio using custom browser docks, allowing you to monitor follows, subscriptions, bits, and raids without ever leaving your streaming software interface.
Step 1: Copy Your Twitch Activity Feed URL
To display your Twitch activity feed in OBS, you first need to retrieve its unique popout URL from your Twitch dashboard.
- Open your web browser, go to Twitch, and log into your account.
- Click on your profile picture in the top-right corner and select Creator Dashboard.
- On the dashboard, locate your Activity Feed tile.
- Click the three vertical dots (options icon) in the top-right corner of the Activity Feed tile.
- Click Popout.
- A new, isolated browser window containing only your activity feed will open. Copy the entire URL from the address bar of this new window.
Step 2: Create a Custom Browser Dock in OBS Studio
Once you have the URL, you can embed it directly into the OBS Studio user interface.
- Launch OBS Studio.
- In the top menu bar, click on Docks and select Custom Browser Docks… from the dropdown menu.
- A new window will appear with two columns: Dock Name and URL.
- Under Dock Name, type a clear name for your dock,
such as
Twitch Activity Feed. - Under URL, paste the popout URL you copied from Twitch in Step 1.
- Click Apply and then close the window.
Step 3: Position and Authenticate Your New Dock
Your new custom dock will now appear as a floating window inside OBS Studio.
- If the dock displays a Twitch login screen, click Log In and enter your Twitch credentials. This is a secure, one-time authentication process required because the dock functions as an isolated browser.
- Once logged in, your live activity feed will populate.
- Click and hold the title bar of the
Twitch Activity Feeddock. - Drag the window toward any edge of the OBS interface (such as next to your chat or preview window) until a blue highlight appears, then release the mouse to snap it into place.
