Key Snapping Options in LibreOffice Draw

To achieve precise alignment, LibreOffice Draw offers several dedicated snap functions located in the View menu and the Options toolbar:

• Snap to Page Margins: When enabled, this feature pulls the edges, corners, or center points of an object toward the page margins as you move it close to the printable border of the document.
• Snap to Snap Lines (Guides): This option forces objects to align with custom horizontal or vertical guide lines. You can create these lines by clicking on the horizontal or vertical ruler and dragging a guide line onto the workspace.
• Snap to Object Frame (Edge Snapping): This setting detects the outer contours and bounding boxes of neighboring shapes, allowing you to align elements flush against one another side-by-side or stacked vertically.
