LibreOffice Draw allows users to design custom color gradients tailored for both digital screens and physical print using RGB and CMYK color spaces. Step 3: Define Custom Colors Using RGB or CMYK

To use specific RGB or CMYK values for the transition:

  1. Under the Colors section in the Gradients tab, locate the From (start) and To (end) color options.
  2. Select the color dropdown menu and click Pick Color (or custom color palette).
  3. In the Color Picker window, switch to your required color model:

    • CMYK Mode: Ideal for materials intended for professional printing. Enter the percentage values (0–100%) for C (Cyan), M (Magenta), Y (Yellow), and K (Black).
  4. Click OK to apply the color to the “From” field.
  5. Repeat the process for the “To” field to set your endpoint color using the same or complementary color model.

Step 4: Save and Apply the Custom Gradient

  1. Preview the gradient in the preview box on the right side of the dialog.
  2. To save the gradient for reuse across other shapes and documents, click the Add button.
  3. Enter a unique name for your gradient and click OK.
  4. Click Apply to preview it on your selected shape, then click OK to confirm and close the Area dialog.
