Select All Clips After Playhead in Kdenlive

The easiest and most common way to select and move all clips after a certain point is by using the Spacer Tool.

  1. Press the Y key on your keyboard to activate the Spacer Tool (or click the Spacer Tool icon in the timeline toolbar).
  2. Left-click on the first clip located after your playhead.
  3. This action automatically selects that clip and every subsequent clip to the right of it on the active track.
  4. Drag your mouse to move all the selected clips forward or backward along the timeline.
  5. Press S to switch back to the normal Selection Tool when you are finished.
