Import Folder into Kdenlive Project Bin

Method 1: The Drag-and-Drop Method (Fastest)

The easiest way to import a folder into Kdenlive is by dragging it directly from your computer’s file manager.

  1. Open Kdenlive and ensure the Project Bin panel is visible (usually located in the top-left area of the interface).
  2. Open your operating system’s file explorer (such as Windows Explorer, macOS Finder, or Linux Dolphin/Files).
  3. Locate the folder containing your media files.
