How to Use Edge Glow in Kdenlive

Step 1: Prepare Your Footage on the Timeline
Open Kdenlive and import your high-contrast video clip into the Project Bin. Drag and drop the clip onto a video track on your timeline. High-contrast footage—such as dark backgrounds with bright subjects—works best for this effect, as the filter relies on distinct luminance differences to detect and highlight edges.
Step 2: Locate the Edge Glow Filter
Navigate to the Effects panel, which is typically located in the bottom-left or center-left tab of the default workspace.
