How to Pin Effects to Favorites in Kdenlive

Finding your most-used video and audio effects in Kdenlive can slow down your editing workflow. This guide provides a quick, step-by-step walkthrough on how to pin specific effects to the “Favorite Effects” tab in Kdenlive, allowing you to access your go-to tools instantly.

Step 1: Open the Effects Panel

First, ensure that the Effects panel is visible in your Kdenlive workspace. If you cannot see it, go to the top menu and select View, then check the box next to Effects. The panel will appear, usually docked alongside your Project Bin.
