How to Create a Custom Click Track in Audacity

Generating a custom click track in Audacity is a straightforward process that provides an accurate rhythmic reference for recording music, podcasts, or voiceovers. This guide demonstrates how to use Audacity’s built-in Rhythm Track generator to configure your exact beats per minute (BPM), customize beats per bar to match your time signature, and set the appropriate duration for your project.

Step 1: Open the Rhythm Track Generator

1. Launch Audacity and open a new or existing project.

3. Select Rhythm Track... from the drop-down menu (in older versions of Audacity, this option is labeled as Click Track).

Step 2: Set Your Custom Tempo and Time Signature
